1976 schiada 21 rc twin turbo for sale

this is a 1976 schiada v-drive 39 gears in the casale turbo 400 trans and a raceaero twin turbo 511 bbc with 300hp nitrous, 1300hp total, and is sitting on a 3 axle trailer $27k, if interested call me at 310-749-7723. the boat is located in torrance ca.

I am into my '74 '22 Schiada V-drive for nearly this much and it is a N/A 502 with a Turbo 400, 1-inch shaft total cruiser. Somebody needs this boat. If I hadn't poured my money into my '22 last year I would be all over this.

There is a world of difference between going 100+ in this rocket and doing it in a big cat. I believe you are completely correct in your estimation that this is too much boat for most of the folks on this site... probably me included. From the twin turbo motor to the V-drive nuances and learning curve... I think you are absolutely right.

I can't believe this boat is still available. 27K is not only priced right, its cheap as Schiada's go. If I had the dough and needed a nice Vdrive cruiser I'd buy it myself.

What cracks me up is people will pay over 100K for a cookie cutter Cat but when it comes to under 30K for a classic V-drive that has nice rigging, a good motor, and hours of set-up work it takes to dial in a V-0rive they bark at the price. It is a Schiada and worth every penny. Anyone who thinks it is too much money is obviously not an educated Hot Boater. I grew up in these hulls and they have been successful at everything from lake boating, pleasure crusiing to performance ski racing. If the price is too high for you go buy a frikkin jet boat!

iTS COOL. i'M NOT KNOCKING JETS. i HAD ONE FOR QUITE A FEW YEARS. a v-DRIVE WILL USUALLY ALWAYS COME WITH A HIGHER PRICE TAG THOUGH. i WISH THIS BOAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE A YEAR AGO AS i AM AT THE END OF A RESTORATION ON MY BOAT AND HAVE DAMN NEAR THIS MONEY IN IT. atleast i know everything is new and upgraded. somebody needs this turn key '21.

OK. on the net what you see is what you get. I got a couple guys interested in the schiada, got the nova in the paper next week and my friends 16 year old daughter may want the car for 25K as soon as she realizes old mustangs suck well not really but their fords. i am puttin a bbc in the chevelle with a 4 speed and finishing it. as far as the jet boat will see when summer rolls around if all else fails i got three bad ass boats to use this summer and quite a few nice classic cars to drive. i dont need to sell anything its all payed for and i really dont need the money its just that i get bored REAL QUICK.

small world. I knew that boat looked familiar. was the boat also at the 2004 Schiada regatta at Havasu. I worked for Truckin' Magazine at the time and presented an award at the banquet and ran anarticle in the magazine and I believe there was a shot of that boat all aired out in the magazine.

Vee-Driven- My folks still live in Torrance but I am out in Fullerton, Ca now. Grew up in Torrance, went to West High etc. One of my buddies lives in Lomita and we always use to see that thing parked in front of old owners house and drive by and drool. Wish this would have came up a year ago but I am way to deep into my '22 now to turn back and the wife loves the extra room in the '22. Hope you sell her. I would call Lee and let him know about it as he often gets people asking for older '21-22 footers For Sale. If he has your info and pics you may have a buyer sooner than you think. Some boats are seasonal sellers but a Schiada is hot anytime of the year.

Vee, sorry to see your ride still hasn't found a new home, to bad people don't understand it's value, especially since the last time I spoke to Lee a new hull was basically $2000.00 a foot to build, less motor, interior, v-drive, steering, the hull had raw cav plates and strut.

Righteous boat! A true Classic! Unfortunately, most folks
don't really understand what that boat is all about. Worth
every penny that you're asking and then some! I know 2 guys that have built new 21' Schiadas with twin turbo motors and they're going for about $175,000 plus tax!!!!!!
And they're waiting in line to get them built!
