I actually spoke to the brokers who are trying to peddle that thing....
They have called me everyday for the past week...Basically saying,"Just make us an offer".
How much is over the top Garish actually worth?
Funny thing is,I had a 22 ft. Tahiti (circa 1982) bowrider,(I swear I'm not making this up) with the EXACT gel-scheme,same colors, design etc.

30K tops. You would have to rip that thing down. regel, anodize every piece of hardware, if not new. Keep the chili bowls on the trailer, those are pimp.

You know I thought about it, but I dont' think they would have taken my offer so I didn't call. Nice boat, but you would have to spend 15K on it to make it decent, so with that said I wouldn't a penny over 40K for it. But would offer 35k to start. Your talking a lot of work to make it "newer/updated". But I think Tobohomo should buy it and put the wire wheels on it then leave it alone.
This has been on the market for a while to and is starting to get close to a decent deal. The boat sold last year for high 100's and the guy threw his power in it and is trying to make a buck. Not a boat for the money.

There are a lot of "on the market for 12 months" boats for sale right now. Some deals most not. I did a lot searching and talking to people before I did my last boat deal. My 26' DCB will be a fun boat for a couple of years then I will step back into something bigger again. I would like to throw a 32' DCB or 36' Skater together with 1200-1500 a side and some surface drives.
Best to just go new again, boats like this Mach 26 if bought wrong will end up costing you the same lose when you sell it as if you bought a new boat.
You could lose 10 to 20K on this boat or do it on a new one, may as well do the new one then you get what YOU want.

I think I will do the same. You can only boat in a 'small' boat for so long. I am thinking of the new (Miami boat show debute) Outerlimets 48' cat. Thinking of at 'LEAST' 1800-2000 hp per side with surface drives. Or if Scott at Mercury can swing it perhaps #6s. Now if the 48 Outerlimits for some reason has some issues (which is highly unlikely) then I may have to settle with a Skater or an MTI.
Then the next boat after that will be...
Then the next...
Then ...
