Ok, I admit it. I'm addicted to classified ads. When I lived in CA, I couldn't wait for the new Recycler to come out. Now, I wait for BoatTrader to update its ads. It's a problem.
But is it a waste of time?
Not when you come across little gems like this:

Here's the ad text:
17'3" DRAG BOAT, 454, 130 mph, eng. built to max, must see to believe, $14,000 invested obo, 321-799-0017.
"Must see to believe" - he wasn't kidding, eh?
Nothing that some lighter fluid couldn't fix up. Let's all chip in some cash to make sure this abomination never sees the light of day again.

Yeah, I'd bet my pension that that boat will never see 130 mph, and the wakeboard tower is a mustache on the Mona Lisa, (ever see a Hondo with a radio antenna sticking up through the middle of the deck?.. I have), but the deck is certainly different, and all those warts doesn't mean it's a bad boat. It's just from a bad home.
