It all depends on the trailer but mine measured out to be around 8'10" (approximately).

The legal width limit in cal. and I'm pretty sure the whole united states is 8'6". If the over all width is more than that you can get a over width ticket. the only exception is safety equipment such as mirrors and such. until just a few years ago the width limit was 8'.

I have a 92' Ellis trailer. What width are you shooting for?

As I was I guess mine would have to be 8'6". I know it's not less than that. We just did a rough estimate to make sure it fit through the garage doors.

8'6" is generally the width of all flat and hydro road trailers. Competitive, V&M, Ellis....all the same width.

Stix, lets get this right, you have a 92 foot Ellis trailer with a boat width of 8'10". Sounds like your Dad is rubbin off on you. Tell him 682 said hay.
