I have a BBC with 781 heads. I need to run 2-3 steps colder plugs. Which plug should I run? I would like to run autolite racing, but dont what number I need.

Nevermind, I got them. Just in case anyone was wondering, it looks like autolite 26s were factory, so 25 are 1 step, 24 2 step, and 23s are 3 steps colder.

I run about 9:1 compression. I am putting the bottle on the boat for this weekend, so I want to be safe. I couldnt find an racing plugs, so I am just going with standard autolites.

ok then my plugs will not work. I can cross the standard ones into the racing ones tomorrow at work. THe racing plugs are better because they have a cutback strap on them. Less to burn off:D
