What is the exact hole demenisions you need in the bottom for a berk intake ????

20 1/2" x 7 7/8" is what my intake measures. You may want to add 1/16" all around.

Here is a thought. It wouldn't be that much more work to glass up the whole Jacuzzi intake hole, using several layers expanding out. Then cut out the opening you need for the Berk intake. Overall it would be stronger, and I think you would be happier with the outcome over trying to patch and set, as it were. That's just my .02.

The hole in the bottom once the jacuzzi intake is out is 18.25 x 9.25
so im covered on the lenght, it actually needs opened up 2.5 and as far as the width, were talkin only 1 inch so .5 on each side, i dont think it will be that tough to fill .5 as long as the screw holes dont fall in this area. Its not far enuf off to fill the entire hole !!!! I have a 76 year old friend that is a wizard with glass, anytime im not sure the best way to do something, HE KNOWS HOW TO DO IT !!!
