Cure for those tuff Firebird water spots

After many beers in the pit team red cup wanted to have a little bet. The fastest qualifying time would enjoy a full detail of their boat in front of a heckling crowd. The 418 boat laid down an early 9.04 and was really feeling good. However, the dragon had a little 9.02 in his back pocket and so the stage was set.
After a big night of partying in the pits we headed back to our pit to let the fun begin.

I dont have any ammo for retaliation at the moment other than a time slip from the 000/418 pairing. It seems the 000 just couldnt put a run togethor when he saw the eliminator in the other lane and as usual the eliminator came out on top. If memory serves me correct the dragon took a beating on the tree and through the lights and was looking at nothing but 418 transom the entire run. Maybe my buddy Becker can come through with a photo for me here, i know hes got a few good ones of the 000 beatings.

I have to say CS did a great job on the detail. The 000 never looked so good. Sofa was nitpicking Chris the whole time. CS your a good sport.

Both boats will be up for sale as soon as I get some seats and can find some time to put the black boat back together. Time to move on. River and track was nice, but I'm out. Perhaps I'll sell the yellow one without engine and build a supercomp car or something, who knows. :)
