can i install a scoop?

i have a ford 460 with a single 750 double pumper holly carb. i was wondering if i can install a mr gasket scoop on there without going with the tunnel ram?

i dont see why not...they make a 1x4 base...there was a thread about testing different kinds of a/c's, scoops, v-stacks etc awhile back & some people found that a V-stack with a K&N filter worked real well...i run 1 & it works better than the scoop i had on it...u might ck into this...just a suggestion & my .02 cents
