Just wondering how many v-drivers are going to Tower Park next weekend? I'll be there Saturday, boatless unfortunately... :(

S&S, I'll be there Sat AM thru Sun., the wife has to work Sat. but will try to be there after she closes up @ 5PM. Don't worry about being boatless, from what I've heard there is more socializing, bench racing and beer drinking than boating anyway. :D :D :D

M.B. This was started by Cas of jetboat fame. Its sort of a jetboat gathering but I asked if V-drives would be allowed, he said yes so I signed up for it. This was back in Febuary and it sold out quickly. I doubt if there are any campsites left but you could do a day trip.

However, there is the rest of the camping area that is unreserved and open still. There should be plenty of room for everyone that wants to go.
This should be an amazing weekend. Over 60 ***boats in one place, and ***boat Magazine doing a photoshoot of it. Too cool!

What's the boating like at Tower Park? Any beaches? I haven't been on the Delta for a few years. Used to go to Lost Isle a lot from the Bacon Island area. Been going to Berryessa the last couple of years and I'm getting tired of the mud!
Sounds like it should be fun.

058, I grew up skiing the Delta behind my old man's tuna boat, then bought my first jet, well a lot of years ago! But I always stayed somewhere around Lost Isle (too much fun!).
I moved to Napa a couple of years ago and bought my 21' Schiada about the same time. At Berryessa we usally put in at Steele Park and then shoot around the lake. But Steele Park just raised their lauch fees. Last time I was there, one of my intercooler intake hoses rattled loose and it looked like I had a jet-o-vater INSISIDE my motor area! But it still kept water pressure and we made it back to the ramp.
Hope to make it Tower Park Saturday but I just found out that two of my buddies will be out of town. Gonna get on the phone and try to round up two more.
