Just lookin close at this, I see it has a short oil fill tube. Just about every Olds engine pic I see has a tall one. Mine has the short one as well, and I know for sure mine is a 100% original Hardin setup, mostly anyway, other than the carb and distributor. I was beginning to think mine was odd or something.

Hey Dave. The short tube looks way better than the tall. I usually cut down the tube for the street. I like the tall tube for boats with closed engine compartments though. Makes things a little more convenient when adding oil. Lazyness here..!
