We arrived at the Dumont Tuesday 11 PM.
The road in was brutally bad.
Not too crowded camping conditions.
Everyone seemed to start arriving Friday and it got pretty packed.
First time I've seen big groups on the flats to the little dunes ( the suns anvil).
Heavy winds before dawn Wednesday left the dunes clean and ready for a nice riding day.

It's been one year Duning with the new wife so I bought her a new KFX 700 pictured above. Brutal power.
Some performance improvements for '07 on an already good performing quad.
The wife loves it. It's what she asked for, but didn't care about color.
I stopped passing girls at Berts and asked what color they would chose of all the floor models and they all said get her the Black marble.
Dumont didn't seem as crowded as Thanksgivings past, but far more camp racers.
Bought son a new Suzuki 90 and it's a real dune performer with Scat Trax Glider paddles.
Does 45 mph outta the box.

Shower and dinner of KFC after a fun Wednesday ride on the dunes.
We did a deep fried turkey for Thanksgiving w/sweet potato pie. Tasty.

Cool quad i had bought my wife one and she loves it, the only problem with that bike is that the plastic is VERY brittle and even in a slow roll it will shatter like you can't believe. do yourself a favor and buy some aftermarket plastic and switch it. that way when you sell it someday put the original back on. I know the after market doesn't look as good but for some reason the factory stuff is the worse i have ever had on any bike. If you never flip it then you will be fine.
