I'm going to turn my porch light on Christmas morning, just to add to the festive spirit.
... but only for about 15 minutes. I don't want to run up my power bill.

I leave mine up 365 days a year, haven't tak'n them down for over 10 years
kinda like celebrating the birth of Jesus everyday of my life. they come on at dusk every nite and go off around midnite :cool:

I was up on the 24' ladder (I hate heights) in a slight breeze (Whew!) Saturday puttin them up. I got some small LED Christmas lights about 4 years ago, and they give off a cool glow with minimal power. The Wife put together the tree/ornamanets and banister garland, and the kiddo did his best to eat/drop/hide the rest of the stuff..(He's 15 months).
I gotta admit, I like Christmas...
