I am very computer lame, so bear with me......I get these messages that say stuff like "failure to initialize, must terminate the application" or something,(in the middle of reading a thread) and then my internet shuts down when I click 'OK" and I have to start all over again....Why? Also, I get "virtual memory is low" message, too...How do I get more virtual memory??

Wow. As much time as everyone spends on line, you'd think there'd be a few computer-savy individuals...Plus, it's Bunny for crying out loud
BTW, I don't know how to help you :)

Could be various issues, but I would start here and run the free scan:

You have program using up a lot of your system resources.

if you are using internet explorer, click on tools, then internet options. Then click on delete files and then delete cookies. You only have a limited amount of memory allocated to perform application functions and when you have too much in your temporary internet files, it begins to create issues for other applications. If this doesn't help, there are several other things I can suggest. Post on your thread and I will check every couple days.

To increse the virt. mem . right clk my comp. select properties, select advanced tab, select performance, see if windows is selected to manage your virt. mem. if you want windoze to manage it , if you want to allocate it yourself select the advanced tab then select the Change tab and set the parimiters from there .... Example ... I have 256 DDR on this machine, I have the minimum set for 900 and the max set at 1800. that gives 900 + /- to play with. if you're not familiar with setting it chances are it would be better to let Windooze manage it , otherwise you may slow it down to a crawl. as far as to why it's shutting down your browser .. well
Thats Microsnot for ya :p
