Have a 96 carrera, great shape, brand new pump. have a 454 with a couple of rods trough the pan that will go with it. msd ign. lots of great stuff. 102 wide hensly trailer. etc, etc. dont rely know what its worth. should i put a motor or just get rid of it as is. thanks for any help.

From what I can see it's beautiful, but a project. Its going to be "worth" more in warmer weather and with any running motor. As is, 2-3.5K is what I would say is fair. From what I can see and for what it's "worth" to me. Maybe more pics.

Where you live has alot to do with what it's worth. You'll get more money for a boat in California than you would in New York.
Fix or replace the engine and put it on the market.

get the san diego parts and equipment trader. in the back are motors. there is a few ads in there that have rebuilt 454's for $1500 to $2100 swap it and sell it. or I will give you $3000 as is

I hope no offense was taken. I am prone to agree and disagree. I believe that there are some absolutes. Hull type determines value first, available water matched to hull type comes second and price for turn key considering 1 and 2 = price. I lived in Havasua for 15 months and bought my current boat there - I'm a REAL network consultant. In my avatar you'll see AZ on the hull - still registered there because I hope to return soon. In the NEast we have great lakes which = ocean like conditions so potato chip boats don't have much value. The rivers are more suited for beer can jets which are engineered for really extreme conditions. People here tend to be more practical. Running = worth more IS ALL I'm sayin' :argue:

Thanks to everyone for there input. I think right now im gonna hold off till my motor gets here, throw it in and sell it. Thanks again.
