They are kinda like Dinosaurs.
The internet put them out of Business because one could save alot by doing the work themselves.

HA HA ya we've done a lot of research on the net already but I thought I would atleast run it by a TA and see what kind of deal they had.
I will call AAA as well.
Thanks guys!

Dan,
look in the Yellow Pages in your area. Try to find an agent w/ an affiliation to a group such as Carlson Wagonlit, American Express Platinium, or maybe Travelsavers. Also, make sure they are members of a trade group such as CLIA-for mostly cruise specialists or ASTA-industry wide.
If you go with an agent, make sure you give them as much info about what you want to experience or do on your trip. That way, in researching your possible destinations, they may find some interesting side trips that may be of interest to you.
If you just need car/hotel/air go with Orbitz or something like that.

Ivan Dan,
My wife is a Travel Supervisor at AAA in Fullerton. You might want to give her a call, even if you don't go that route, at least you can pick her brain. Her name is Rachel, 714 278-6822.

Thanks everyone....its been 5 years now so I figured it was time to man up and do it. We picked Hawaii because we definitely didn't want to spend the kind of money some of our friends have over the years for a one night event. We have some friends that have spent between $40k and $100k and I just can't justify that.
We are planning on going to the Big Island to Wiakoloa Village Hilton Resort. Anyone been there? How is it?
