Ya want tuneable with 4 strokes.
The disc system, and the quieter sound works for us.

Nice pipe, put a FMF TI Powercore on my WR450 last year and it just absolutly has power all over the place. Insane power. Love the pipe!

I ran PC on my 95 CR500...
I don't think it matters what pipe/silencer you run, the 500 is an ass kicker no matter what.
BTW-Is it an AF500? If so, I'm jealous.

http://www.servicehonda.com/images/models/500AFX_200w.jpgThe 500AF, built and sold exclusively by Service Honda, is the only modern 500cc 2-stroke you can buy.http://www.servicehonda.com/images/hp_500af.jpg
Or you can still get a new, custom, super version of the whole Bike.

I spent some time on service 500 a few years ago.
I think it's a great bike but the new 450 Honda or Yamaha 450 I think have them beat on overall performance/ power delivery
just my .02

I was sitting back outside the rig at Gordons Well and 4 guys from Az new to Gordons rolled up on them.
They had 2 stroke oil, but needed gas to get back to Buttercup.
Paradise was out of the canned gas.
I gave them all gas and a few beers and Alice rolled out the Kilbasa and crackers and we both had the chance to ride one.
Very nice.
Unique, green sticker, and tons of power.
Horsepower and mc's runs through the wifes veins and she was really stoked.
I imagine they'll hold their value.
Alice said the Honda 450 is probably key'd off/knocked off the Service 500.
So similar in performance and feel.

The bikes not mine but can ride it any time I want since I store it and do all the maintnance on it. I can tell you this. "IT'S A HANDFULL" I have a 07 YZ450 and it's so much smoother than the AF500. I can only ride the 500 for a short period of time as aposed to my 450 that I can ride all day long.
By the way the 500 may be for sale soon. The owner might go to a 450 instead :rollside:

The FMF will have a smoother power band and the Pro Circuit will hit a little harder.
