How was your commute this morning? My 25 min. commute turned into a 3 hr. commute. We got 10-12 inches from midnight to 9am and it is still coming down as of 12:15pm(central). It was coming down at about 2" an hour from about 5am-9am. This is our first snow fall for this winter season and I think these maroons/morons forgot how to drive in the stuff.
Just thought you SoCal peeps would like to see what you are missing. Not! GOD I miss San Diego.

HOLY SHIT! I would NOT want to drive in that, ever. I hate the snow unless Im watching it from the inside by a huge fire, drinking a cocktail. :) Careful in that shiat!

In the bars out here right about now they start serving this nasty stuff called glug. Have no idea what it is but, the texture of it is nasty. I don't care how much alcohol is in it. These damn mid-west people will drink anything with booze in it.

It is. Both O'Hare and Midway cancelled most all flights this morning so they are waaaaay behind. I'd hate to be flying out of here today.

My commute was 35 steps from my bedroom to the office. Sitting in shorts and a t-shirt looking out at blue sky and Saddleback Peak. God I love So Cal. :p

At 7 this morning they said O'Hare was only landing 28 planes an hour...typically they land 100 planes in an hour....and they only expected it to get worse throughout the day.
I can't complain about my commute to work...as I live 3 blocks away, but with the few inches of ice and 12 inches of snow, I'm only one of 6 people who made it in. Virtually the entire town is shut down

Eight min. for me. Had me a Christmas toddy two nights, used pumpkin spice eggnog. :rollside:

And SD misses Deena... I mean, you and Dena! Are you guys coming home for Christmas? We are going to be building the red/white boat with an Ilmor/Teague package and should be ready to take you guys for a ride by then... ;)

My commute was a little shorter than yours. I'm 20 feet from my bedroom to my office with a great view of the mountains. :)

Yeah, we will be coming in on the morning of Wednesday the 20th and will be in town until the 27th. We are going to shoot up to Palm Springs for X-mas eve and X-mas day but then will be back down. Dea-licious will give you a call, I mean, we will give you a call. :crossx:

My commute is about 20-25 feet. My office looks dead east, so no mountains, but I do get some great sunrises. Nothing like city in the office, on Dec. 1, T-shirt, shorts, no socks calling midwest customers and asking "and how's your weather today?!"

Funny when it snows here in Texas... idiots freak out with just a little sleet or snow on the roads and it looks like a smash up derby on the highway...

Woke up @ 3:45 . Showered .Got out @ 4:20 Still as drunk as when I fell asleep. Froze my ass off walking out to my truck which I could not remember where I left. One really well mixed Bloody mary got rid of the buzz on the way to work 40 min away to USC . Dont plan on doin that ever again . I'm just glad I dont remember the drive there. The drink gets rid of the buzz but not the headace.
