I am coaching him into a XR 50 vs the quad. It's not going well.

Since I managed to make it through one more year without kids, I will be getting myself a 686 kit with clutch and porting for the Rhino.
Last year was the Yeti ASR/SL mountain bike. The year before that was the Corvette... :D

I had a Nitro Stampede years ago. The weak link was the front end A arms. Get a few spare ones if junior ever runs into anything you'll be glad you did.
another weak link was the one way bearing on the engine but you wont have to worry about that since the one shown is elect.
Other than that it should give him many hours of entertainment. Great Toy !

Yes, I will be sending my business associate over with a 3rd party cashiers check for $20,000 more than the invoice. You can keep $5K for your troubles and wire the other $15,000 to my account.

I saw some metal aftermarket ones at the hobby shop last time I was in there but I would almost be afraid to run a set. Whats going to break if you beef up the front end ? I'll swing by there today and see if they still have them if you want a set. I'll check on the orig replacements too, there may be a few of those also.
