Before I got on this board I was completely satisfied with my Nordskog. No it didn't look new or run for that matter. After lurking for many months and then posting now and then, I got excited enough to inquire about having someone restore my Nordskog. Since then my brother RCL has bought four vdrives and restored one. My brother Ron bought one vdrive and did an awsome job of restoring it. My dad found an Aqua Craft and restored it! In round numbers this board has cost my family $150,000.00 :rollside: :rollside: :rollside:
This does not take into consideration travel from Boise to LA. This does not include any bar tabs... Nor any cell bills.. And beleive me there has been many many late night drunk messages. :)
My brother RCL, Ron and dad just made the treck down to drop off my motor for the Nordy and pick up Mike's new ride... Oh now were up to $157,000.00!
The friendships and fun we have had with Sammons. Billy B and the rest of the crew has been priceless! I can't thank you all enough for the hospitality and laughs.
It was cool to see my Nordy in person. I am still in shock as to how cool it looks. It was beyond my expectations.

I think eraser and I are up to about $100,000 and counting on our 3 boats. But I can say the good times we've had and the friends we've made were worth way more than that :)

But I have learned alot.....I have learned that Lou (Pat) likes to play dirty jokes on RCL. As many of you know RCL has a slight vision problem and Pat took advantage of that by driving brail on the lane dividers while driving home this past weekend. Horrible trick to play on RCL Pat. What if you had drifted off the road and damaged those custom wheels on RCL's trailer.

Brother Lou does not give up the wheel easy. He drove all the way down and all the way back....1900 or so miles...Going to Carlsbad and hanging with the boys cost about 600.00 in fuel and about 1200.00 in Liquor. Motel rooms for six guys about 350.00. Hangin with Billy and his lovely bride was about 150.00 in dinner and 250.00 in Goose and cranberry juice. Calling the donut eating Flyin Hawaiin in the middle of the night...15.00. Flying off Hiway 95 with Brother Lou at the helm with my new Rayson in tow....Like Chevy Chase in Vacation............Priceless.

So is it safe to say that if I'm only at about $4,500, and my boat is not wet yet, that I,m in for a rude awakening.
