When I think of dream boats, I think of Cigarette, Apache,
Outerlimits and Thoroughbred.......and maybe some others too! Remember the old Magnum boats??!!
Here's a thought--it was only about 12 years ago that Fountain and Scarab were duking it out for kilo top speed
honors and who really was fastest. The speeds hovered around 110 mph , then 112 then 116, then it jumped to
about 123 and the world looked on in amazment when it
went to 129. I remember thinking that there is no way a
v bottomed boat would ever get past that 129 mark. Now,
12 years later they're over 175 mph and are seriously
eyeballing the 200 mph mark in v bottoms. Incredible!
Something very special about a v bottom that will really run! and in some cases "fly"!

You would think with the money they get for these boats that they could "doctor up" a better picture than this one, it is not real, hard to get boat that size out of the waster that much without one important thing......a wave large enough to launch off of...that water is flat for that kind of air!! Its a fake!!!! THOSE BASTARDS
So based on that I am NOT going to buy it!!!!
I suggest we all get together and avoid buying this boat.
ARE YOU WITH ME!!!!!!
Sorry FJ.............

I'd be willing to bet that's not a doctored pic... The pic below was taken in Oct at the SCOPE video shoot - I guarantee you that the air in this pic is real, even though you can't see the wave that the boat launched from... The water that day had big swells and all 25 boats in the video shoot have air shots.
PS: Nice choice Blane - I'd love to have a Top Gun myself...
