For arguements sake, could 7 unarmed men take down a full grown, healthy grizzly bear? Yes? How? If not, how many? There is no right or wrong answer.

How could anyone fight without arms. What are they going to do, kick him to death. I say no.

I'd say yes, if they allowed to break off and sharpen long tree branches. Just like that movie with anthony hopkins. Or perhaps if they can't be armed, tie off a rope to the edge of a cliff, lure the bear to charge and just jump off holding the rope right before the bear gets to you. He would never be able to stop and fall right off. Yes i have quite the imagination.

Get the 6 guys to distract the bear and the 7th guy can put a rear naked chock on it. I think the bear would tap.

If I was one of the 7, I'd just hope that I could run faster than at least 1 or 2 of the others in the group.

OK I got it. It would require the sacrifice of one guy. My plan would be to dust one guy with Polonium-210 and feed him to the bear. Lets face it, in a group of 7 guys, there is always one guy who nobody really likes. I say use that one.

No, not if the men are unarmed.
I saw a simulation on tv, 2,000 lb bear against 1,000 lb saber tooth tiger. The bear won.
I wonder why that caribou didn't run.
