How about a pic of the valve area. Must be a seriously deep rail to have such a short valve cover.
You got to love all aluminum motors.
There was an aluminum block thread going in the gearheads forum last week.

That thing's a long way from being a motor...all I see is a pair of heads and a block that need mega-hours and mega dollars spent. I'm guessing there aren't even any seats or guides in the heads...not much to hide under the valve covers. It's going to be one awsome piece when it's done, that's for sure.
Who's building it? How big? What's the target power?
I hope you keep us posted on this. :D

my motor is not even in the same league as this one but if i learned one thing putting mine together its that this shit don't slap together in a weekend. that spread port, canted valve stuff is custom. good luck tony. hope that thing rips when you get it in the boat.

That things a Hemi! Bulit to keep up with the big Kaase shotguns in IHRA prostock. I wonder how many cubes, Probably more than 700. The domes are rotated 90 degrees. The big sonny engines are around 90 K. I read about them somewhere. Very Kool !

Tony - Just FYI ... If that Monster is going to be a 737 cid'r as is marked in felt pen on the face of the block then, that's going to be one heck of an expensive 'Bracket Motor' as the UBFJ cid Limit in the NJBA is 670 (and that was difficult to get up'd from 565) and when Charlie opens the Class in the IHBA it will be 565 (just like TAJ & TFJ). If your Serious about wanting to run UBFJ, you might want to consider that before ordering more parts.

Come on now Junior, dont gat mad because I called you on your pictures. Last time I checked there was no FBRA (Fantasy Boat Racing Association) so just relax. Hey, you should buy fbraracing.com and hook it up. It could be just like Fantasy Football but less organized with more drama, you know, just like real boat racing. Merry Christmas, make sure you post pictures of all the fake stuff Santa didnt bring you.

I was just looking at a couple of pairs of these yesterday. One pair was already CNC'd, the other pair still raw, waiting for ports. Pictures don't do these things justice...they're HUGE! The pair I was looking at are going on an 800" motor, and we were talking about how the ports are going to be borderline too big for that motor. On something under 700", in a jet boat, the consensus was that unless you're going to spin this thing 9500 rpm, these are just a might bit overkill. :) They're not really a "Hemi", either. Some big sombichin hunks of aluminum, that's fo sho. http://www.***boat.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=20788&stc=1&d=1165789654

Where ALL the injectors are dumping ALL the time, There's some fuel metering precision. LOL  :D
I'd have to say that of all the Enderle's I've seen on lake boats, over 80% of them were just dumping in way to much fuel and idled real high.

I run 24 injectors which do not dump fuel all the time, there is a spring loaded device in mechanical fuel injection called a poppet that regulates fuel distribution by pressure.
