Thinking about hitting the water weekend after next, just wondering if you guys have any pre-season routines/advise, concerning the pump/bowl/etc.

I grease the driveline u-joints, the fitting on the input shaft of the pump, and squirt fresh gear oil into the bowl, everytime I take it out..... :cool:

oil in the bowl? I don't follow. I never put oil in my bowl when I use to own a jet. Did I miss something?

Ya those old white pumps have a oil reservoir for the tail bearing. They also like to push the oil seal out too...

Not realy bearings, but but bushings.
