I'm pretty sure this is the same video that was posted here durring the summer. They never finished the race!!! Broke both drives and had to be towed in!!! They had a huge lead and never let off the sticks. The rough water ended up winning :(

But they didn't finish that race!!! All of that bouncing around took them out of that race like I posted earlier. Do a search on here under Apache (I think) there is a link to the video of that race and it shows the end result :(

wasn't it a drive/powertrain failure and not the result of the hull construction?

I think his girlfriend hijacked the helicopter at gunpoint once it was in the air & told the pilot to land in the yard. Not sure of the details but definately right out of a Miami Vice episode. I guess they fingered Ben for popping Don Aronow but never convicted...
