ok what gives, what does it take to get my hull to air out and run like a tunnel hull????????????? 2.4 xri, 30 pitch,jack plate up,fully trimmed out and no problem with motor turning 6200 rpms

first off that boat should run great ,it's light, it has big tunnels for that size boat . what kinda prop are you running . i have a 20.2 that runs 100 mph ,my cousin has the very same 18.10 that you are talkin about, he only has a 150 and his boat takes a quicker set with two of us in it than my 20.2 . it's all in the set up !!!! you need to tell me more ! 1988 xri 2.4 efi on jack plate, after market lower unit. has 25 pitch 4 blade prop with jack plate all the way up prop shaft level with bottom of hull on tramsom took boat out would reach max rpm but only 55 mph on speedo trim motor all the way till prop cavitates lower till it bites push pedal all the way start bringing jack plate all the way up.....
