where do people come up with these numbers? i have a friend like this, he had and old mercury cougar with a stock 302. he claimed it would pop wheelies and nobody else could drive it because they couldnt handle all the horsepower. their always good for a laugh or two.

After carefully evaluating the pics it appears this is a vdrive. I also thought it was a jet, but others have pointed out the water pick up hoses that appear to go down to the plate. Either way the speed claim is insanity, plain and simple............MP

appears to be logs mounted downside up with ot pipes, pretty common on a sbc. Also, BBC valve covers have 4 bolts on the bottom....that one has 2, also like a sbc.
