Never raced lightweight Julian Pettingil 1979 Biesemeyer. Completely restored finished oct 2006. Has 15 minutes of break-in run time since new. The boat works perfect and handles excellent.

Boat is brand new from bow to stern. Engine is a 481 CI by Paul Pfaff. Dart block, Dart heads, Crower injection, J&E pistons, don't know about the crank and rods, but I can ask Gordy. 25 gear with a 11 & 1/4 x 15 the engine ran up to 7000 with peddle left. Boat handles great but needs some more test time to dial it just perfect, but for coming off the trailer it was flawless. Investment $$$$$$$$$$$ was around $70,000. I tried to reach Jim today to ask what he wants but was unable to talk to him. As soon as I have a figure i'll let you know. Now for all of you that think this is over kill as far as the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ better think again. I had a guy tell me today that there was a guy who had $35,000 in a Rhino. A "FREKING RHINO". So in my world this boat was a bunch of spare change compared to that.

While 30k rhinos are still rhinos like "show" VW's are still VW's, a stock Rhino ride Gecko to Olds over the dunes is a blast and hell of a lot more challenging than any quad.

Yea, it took too long to finish everything even after Billy had to bail me out with the design, I was really lost on how to make it fit the boat.
Months? I don't know about that. But either way, it did take WAY too long.
You could have at least flogged the boat a few times, then I would have been happy with all the work I did. I am sure whoever buys it will appreciate it though.
Cutting a hole in the gunnel for the water outlets was butt-puckering to say the least.
