I agree the boards a pain in the ass now but it seems to be working better in other ways.Congrats on the purchase, that was a steal at that price, the thing should fly with all your hard work.
Just make sure it doesnt loose power, we already found out what this boat wants to do when that goes down. When Jaydogg owned it we nearly collided on he race course.:jawdrop: This thing always rode loose and high on the water, its a good boat!!

Hey 396, I was checking that hull out yesterday when I picked the Berkley up from Brian. That should make a nice boat. The deck and sides are pretty thin. With the bottom straightened out and your new mill it should move. Are you using the pump from your old boat? Glad to see you get the hull. First time I have met Busby, good guy.

Was that before the bottom was done? What did the boat actually do? What speeds did it act like that?
Do you mean riding high like this....

Yeah, the pump thats in my kachina has about 2 hours on it. Its got a detailed bronze "B",ultimate wearring, stainless shaft, inducer, worked bowl, droop and diverter. I will be pulling it tomorrow and getting it ready. The butterflies are kicking up;)

I don't think the boat has seen the water after the bottom was done.

LMAO
Thats probably the best riding gullwing you will ever come across, not saying yours cant do that but that boat is very dialed and it took some serious tweakin to get there, they almost blew it over in the process.
When Jason ran your boat it ran clean in the tail and the hardware wasnt right (in my opinion) so its got good potential. When he hooked it in at ming it was becasue he forgot to turn the fuel pump on..In so many words it lost power, the nose slammed down and hooked left, I think he took out the half track clocks in the process.Tim's right, it hasnt been wet since the bottom work.

Its a nice boat, but like any boat it needs work and setup. I almost bought it off Bling Bling himself. Good luck with it.

you got yourself a really fun river boat. when i had the boat it did not run that loose. the bottom was really bad from what i heard so it should handle a ton better now. it had a tendency to hook left if it lost power or you got out of the gas hard. i ran a blown 540 in it and it made maybe 900hp. call me if you want more info. 818-266-9661. good luck!!

Tim and Chris are right ... it hasn't been wet yet since the bottom was redone, BUT ... it was done right.
Listen to Chris (cs19) Mike ... he'll point you in the right direction with this hull.
