It was sand in the water, and floating ON TOP of the waves...

Boy, that is earth science, real time...........That floating "sand" was probably pumice, very porous, and ash........Still, where will it wind up? Or will it soak up the water and sink?...Talk about "a once in a lifetime Kodac moment"...What a story to tell, although, who would believe it without pictures........MP

We have that pumice stuff all over down in baja near the trailer. One of the local Islands was a volcano.........yeeeeeeeeears ago.
