Ok so we started laying out the flames.
Then the plans changed, We added more flames and they will intertwine. What a time consuming PAIN.
The things we do for little brothers.

There's the Kandy tangerine. Next we will use Kandy brandywine to intertwine them.
More next weekend.

Flaming Good guys....That LIGHT sanger had a great history that you may not be aware of. Their Dad used to race it in K boat competition with an injected Chevy. After many different owners, Super Lite tracked it down and purchased it...great story no? I cant imagine why Dad would not want to be there to see it's debut, is he coming? we have a badge for him! He could bring the pickel fork for the fun of it! Just a suggestion...... smile_sp

Actually dad raced it in the drags( you know racing for those of us with a short attention span), in the unblown fuel flatbottom class, with an injected 427 chev. I hope to make it to banks, if I don't go broke buying masking tape. The boat most likely won't be back together by then, still need to pick up some odds and ends, and finish polishing some pieces.

Well at least my part will be done.
No more listening to "When are we going to paint my boat?"
Then I can get busy on my own project.
Hey Jerk,
You have circles on the brain...
Dad never figured out how to turn left.
The pickle fork is still iffie...
Would make a good fill in between heats.
A "rip" roaring Unblown fuel Hydro. idea

Yes, I do. I just thought it would be great to see that Sanger in the sun once again whether it was running or not. Heck, he could lead the parade of colors to start the show!
I wont be expecting the flamed beast to be ready by June. When you get that involved, you just cant throw the thing together since each piece installed must look good and fit well not to mention the care required to NOT chip the paint! Its good to see the project progressing and two brothers working in HARMONY.....JeRkout smile_sp

No more listening to "When are we going to paint my boat?" Hey RaysonKid , nice job on the boat paint. Flames can be a real pain in the 'BUTT', especially when they are done correctly.Way to much in masking which the customer for the most part doesn't understand , YOU WANT HOW MUCH !!!. Anyway looks cool and have fun with the JERKSTER!!! :D

Billy B.
Thanks. Yes, Flames are a major pain. But worth it. The plan is for some ghost flames on the deck as well. Under the Cobalt blue Kandy.
A few more weekends and it will be ready for some reassembly.
