It seems to me, at least what I've seen, aren't there more problems with wives and the mother in law than there are with husbands and the mother in law?

I've said it before. My wife's mother is amazing. She knows ABSOLUTLY everything about jack shit! I'm not making her feel welcomed because I'm allergic to her dog. (Said with tears). What A fukkin nut.

My Mother in Law is great. She smacks the wife when she starts to even say anything to me. She doesn't speak much english so I never hear any bitching and she can drink like a real woman.
Oh did I mention they used to own a cafe.
They don't call me Chub for nothin.

LOL, that's too funny. I'm sure many people feel that way during the holidays especially!

Thats why you need to live 1000's of miles away from them. Mine lived 4 blocks from me and couldnt stand it.

What get's me is all my girl friends parents from the past all love me to this day. I was raised to be a gentleman and 99% of the time I do and say the right thing. My wife even noticed while at a wedding we ran into an ex's mom who spoke the world of me.
This woman is impossible. O well looks like I'll be hiding in the garage for the next couple of days.:)

Christmas or not, keep her out of the picture, In the long run where will be less problems.

It窶冱 well known that her mom is a nut. She is only tolerated because she is all my wife has left as family. Her father was run over by a fire truck while practicing for a bicycle race. He was a prominent architect in AZ and she was just a dumb ass with his check book. She was once in the money so she thinks somehow she's an authority on everything.
My wife and I have a great relationship and have been married for 4 great years. I MUST REALLY BE IN LOVE TO PUT UP THIS SHIT!:D
Merry Christmas everyone!

Jungle Cruise at Disneyland, the last words from the ride operator,
"push the Mother in Law overboard now".
