Anybody know if the reciever will work if mounted below the dash .....instead of on top of it?

What's the accuracy of them?
If they're accurate then my boat does 67.

If its a carbon fiber hybrid layup, the signal wont go thru and you will have to mount on top.I think you can go below with regular glass

Mine works fine on my 21 Daytona. Normal layup.

As long as there is no metallic interference it should work. Ours is mounted under the dash and works with no problem.....

We have a thin spot of fiberglass just under the peak of the dashboard on ours for this very reason. Works really well.
The Sirius antenna not so much though. Anything put on top, including people or bathing suit tops will tend to block the signal from that.
I don't know why it is different. Perhaps we have a weaker signal for the radio...
