With all the talk latley about the new Tundra vs Titan, vs GM vs Dodge vs Ford, and what is American and what's not I quess the key word here is Kentucky truck plant.

nope,i'm going dodge MEGA next:D unless chevy makes a killllllller deal on a lease,my lease up in 3-4 months, and have had the last 6 trucks chevy
Personaly I think all of the big three are doing great when it comes to trucks, I would take any of them over the Tundra or Titan, just my 02. But given the choice I will opt for the Big Blue Oval every time:D

Are you smokin crack? The V10 lives on through 2008 and is the best gas engine by far out of all the big three. Those who have not driven a v10 have no basis of what that motor is all about BTW i LOVE MY V10 you guys must be confused witht the Dodge v10 which hasent been around for a few years.
3valve V10 with 4:30 gears bring it on. Aint nothin better, of course a Powerstroke of course, cause every man deserves a good stroke from time to time:D

I wasnt sure its still around, but its a piece! One of our most requested engines....oh and by FORD themselves too!!!:D They had a problem with the plug threads being to big and they kept shooting out spark plugs causing the owner to buy new heads and they had a weak bottom end...these two were some of the main problems.
The only reason dodge dropped there V-10 is because they introduced the HEMI Engine and there was really not much of a power difference between the two, but a nice price tag....it wasnt worth spending the dough.

you boys are so off it's funny. Yes the v10 and 5.4 triton threw plugs in the early years 99, since then this has been addressed. And the fix btw wasent new heads it was a helcoil fix Any body that says the V10 is a pos has never driven one, the reason the dealearship dosent push them is cause they want all the money going to the powerstroke, more profit compared to the 600.00 V10 option over the 5.4 I have had the 5.4 and the V10 and and the V10 is a much more efficent motor then the 5.4 wiith about the same mpg. As far as the Hemi, give me a break that thing guzzles fuel campared to the V10 so does the GM motor but I would take that one over the Hemi. The V10 may or may not be gone by 2009 due to the new 400hp Boss engine comming out but untill then the 6.8 Triton is STELLAR, dont belive me go drive one.

There is a shuttle service between st. george, utah and las vegas. All they run is v10's in their ford vans.. They love them. At 250,000 to 300,000 they do sell the vans and get newer ones. They don't want to have to start doing repairs.
