Just a heads up:
Passport Deadline Extended
USA - The Department of Homeland Security has extended the deadline for new passport requirements that are needed for U.S. citizens returning from Mexico and Canada. The federal government now says January 23, 2007 is the new start date for when a passport will be required for re-entry into the United States when travelling by airplane or by boat. Those people driving or walking back over the border will not need a passport for re-entry until January 1, 2008. The new restrictions also affect travelers coming from Central and South America, the Carribean and Bermuda.

Thats just great....were taking 19 guys down to Cabo from Ensanada via offroad bikes on Jan 12, and 4 of them didnt listen and couldnt get passports in time and were gonna have to ride back with us in the chase trucks, not now...perfect timing.
Hopefully they kick back the land crossing date (for the third time) because it is expected to cause up to 6-8 crossing times in T.J.:sqeyes: :sqeyes:

Just a heads up, it took us about 6-7 weeks to actually recieve our passports, so if you got a trip coming up soon, haul butt........it could be awhile. All you need is drivers license and birth cert. :mad:
