I just wanted to extend my thanks to our fellow member"Overkill". He sent me a nice polished aluminum steering rudder for the diverter on my dad's Sanger and wouldn't accept any money for it. This is just one example of why I think boaters are just a better class of people in my opinion.;) ( Not afraid to lend a helping hand to another fellow boater whenever possible.)
I installed the rudder last night and though it look's rather odd hangin' there it will improve the handling which is the main goal here. When I installed the new place diverter on the boat I drove it several times without a rudder on it and just wasn't impressed with the boats handling and turning abilities. Especially at low speeds.:jawdrop: Plus I don't want my dad nerfin' up the new paint job I had done because it is hard to steer at the dock.
Thanks again"Overkill". I owe you one buddy.:D
