*accident On Rice Road!!!*

just got in to havi, and about 2:20 az time about 10 miles west of vidal junction really bad accident!! only car i could tell was a late model f150 four door white ford!! hope no one from the boards here...just lettin yall know!!

This could just be a "bumped" thread all though the vehicles are different. It seems like there is ALWAYS a very bad accident on Rice Rd..... Never had to travel it and I'm glad, but isn't there anything they (the city) could do to make it safer? Like put up barrier rail (Jersey Rail).
Just a thought...

Sad to hear. I've seen way too many bad accidents on that damm road. I know it may be wishful thinking but hopefully no one is seriously hurt.

No, he normally takes the 40 route, but with the construction in the Cajon, and on the 40, he has switched to the 10/Rice Rd route.

That's why I always stay on the 10 to the 95.
It may take a few more minutes, but it is way safer.

F*** Rice Road. I quit taking that road a while back. Way too many idiots on that road.
I have driven twice this year and don't like it, I hate that damn road. I always take Erinberg. Safer,shorter and less traveled.

I just got home. Came through Blythe and the Res. HEAVY traffic on the 10. Nothing on the Res Road.
No way I would have gone 177/62 tonight. Idiots were passing on the right, swerving in and out of traffic on I-10. Even though it was moving at 75-80.
As expected, traffiic was real bad through the Palm Desert area, with people trying to get in to President Ford's gig.

I was on my way home yesterday and I couldnt make it threw there. Sad to say corners were on there way was told it was Multiple deaths so the road was closed. So so sad :( :( to hear I pray for the families have a very safe weekend everyone.
