Got to see it live.
red bluff event is one nice race.I aint racin next year but plan to attend the event.One of the best venues IMO

No such thing as too much power.
The January Hot Boat (Yes they have a Magazine) has an interview with him about it. He said he didn't lift because he thought the nose would come down, by the time he realized it wasn't, it was too late.

true. seemed to happen slower watching it from the shore. the good thing was jerry was ok, and they had the boat almost ready to run the next day, but lost a steering knuckle. that boat is one stout piece, and still holds the quickest et ever recorded..

Yes, mucho grande cajones. Simple misjudgement sure can bite ya.
Glad he was unhurt and the boat wasn't hurt badly either. I figured it was a capsule boat so didn't worry much about the driver, more the craft.

There has been some debate on this board before over who can hold their jet up in the longest "wheelie" but I put my vote in for this one just for the sheer coolness of standing that thing on the props out of the water so hard.
