Been looking at 5th wheels, toy haulers and conventional. Salesman say with the 3/4 ton and V-10, I really couldn't tow anything over about a 26 foot 5th or 28 tag. Anyone tow anything bigger? I guess from what I've seen, I'm limited to between 10,000 pounds and 12,000 depending on what you read. I don't have the original owners manual to tell for sure.
Thanks.

Do a search for "towing capacity".. Trailer life has charts also. What year is your truck? Ford .com / trucks will get you info also.

We HAD A F350 and towed a 36' toy hauler. It was OK, but salesmen will tell you anything. We now tow with a Kenworth, a little over kill but talk about a secure feeling:) :)

I tow a 27 foot TT (approx. 6500 lbs) with a V10 Excurion 4WD.
Plenty of power, if I take it easy I get around 11 mpg towing on open freeway.
