Drove thru the Islander today. Have not seen better.What a place. The homes at the top of the ramp are awsome.We are on the river near Parker,great area, but the Islander is our next stop.

Very nice indeed but If you are looking to buy you do not own the land, lots and lots of park rules, and very high priced mobil/park models and high association dues, and very high space rent:jawdrop:

Islander is nice. Launch ramp cool. BUT, good luck having friends and family visit you while you are there. Also, dont put too many vehicals on your spot at once. There are a lot of rules, but the nicest place to stay in Havasu. My dad has been there since the place opened up. His trailer backs up to the lake. Good luck!!:devil:

We've been going there for 10 years. Started by renting a park model for a week at a time. Then bought a trailer and had a six months summer spot. Then broke down in 2004 and bought a park model. The current list of park models go for +/- 160k to 300k. The site leases run $400 - $700 a month (i think) depending where you are in the park. I have a couple of close friends in the park so it's pretty cool. The rules aren't that bad unless you're a kook. The tough one is that they're really strick with visitors, especially on big weekends. A couple of my pals rent their units to snow birds in the winter - it almost pays the annual site rent.

Bad hygiene on my part ? 285 - divorce, 288 - died, the others aren't using their units enough to justify the costs so their cashing out. Most of the newer units sold for about 160k so if they sell for the asking price their making a tidy profit.
