Dear Brat,
The non-profit organization Brats Without Borders is proud to present...
"BRATS: Our Journey Home"
The first-ever documentary about us - about growing up "BRAT" - and how that
has profoundly shaped our lives. "BRATS: Our Journey Home" is now available
on DVD at...
www.bratsfilm.com - For an 8 minute preview trailer, please go to the web
site.
I'm Tim Wurtz, London Central and Ankara American High School class of 1969.
I co-produced the "BRATS FILM." It's written and directed by Army Brat Donna
Musil and narrated by Air Force Brat Kris Kristofferson. We need your
support to let other Brats know about this movie.
Here's what people are saying...
"This beautiful film is a must for each and every person who ever lived under
these circumstances... this is not an easy topic... the filmmakers have done
an excellent job of laying out the major issues... we should all support this
film in the most aggressive way possible..."
-John Hardy, Air Force Brat - London Central HS - Producer, "Sex, Lies
and Videotape" "Erin Brokovich" "Ocean's 11" "Ocean's 12"...
"I've finally found where I belong. This film has explained beautifully what
I feel."
-Susan Cash, Embassy Brat, Ankara/GCM HS
"This movie made my heart sing, my eyes tear and my spirit soar. I am a
richer person for having watched it."
-Michael Ritter, Military Brat - K-Town HS
"I can't believe the changes in my life it's brought about already."
-Ginger Cole Turner, DoD teacher's daughter
"I am completely overwhelmed. I thought I had covered this waterfront both
intellectually and emotionally, but how wrong I was. I was sobbing."
-Sarah Bird, Military Brat, author, "The Yokota Officers Club"
"I'm taking my copy to the local school here in Tennessee and see if this
will finally help them understand that when my daughter said, 'You know I saw
that last soldier from WWII surrender himself on Guam,' she was telling the
truth."
-Michael A. Coleman, Military Brat, AFCENT High School, Netherlands

I trust SinCals opinion and he watched it and strongly suggested I get a copy.
I will send him an em with a link to this thread and hopefully he will post some personal observations on why he recommends this.

Tom i watched this DVD and as a Military Brat it answered alot of questions and touched alot of issues dealing with growing up in the military. I would recommend it to everyone who grow up in a military family. Your experience will be different then mine but you will have an experience no doubt.

:D How was the ride?
This weekend? It was a very nice ride but got a little cold towards the late afternoon. Are you guys ever going to go for a ride with us?
I already told you Happy BD but thought I would tell you again :). Looks like you got a pretty good present this year.

Well, we were a little tied up this time on a 7 hour flight. We landed in LA at about 11 am. We did go for a nice ride up the Keys on Thursday, though.

Jeff decided to keep his bike. He didn't care for the road king. So we'll have to work something out with that passenger seat on ours.

DILLIGAF

There are all sorts of seats you can try out and see what fits for you.
That would be a fun ride...in the Keys and all. I did that in HI a couple of years ago but those damn stock bikes with stock pipes :( Better than nothing though. We will get a ride in some day or maybe you guys can just meet up with us for the late breakfast thing at Texas Lil's some day.
