Bouncer-Friend of Mine Killed New Years Eve

A friend of mine, who used to work at Henessey's in Dana Point, was stabbed to death shortly after New Years eve. It really sucks, he was the nicest guy, studying to join the OC Sherriffs department.

A 21-year-old security guard at an Aliso Viejo nightclub was fatally stabbed in the neck early Monday during a fight in the parking lot with a New Year's party patron.
Brandon White, who lived in Dana Point and was in the final phases of becoming an Orange County sheriff's deputy, was trying to help another security guard outside the Time Out Tavern & Night Club when he was killed, said sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino.
The attacker fled in a red car and was tracked to Hesperia, about 80 miles away, authorities said. Investigators were interviewing the 26-year-old suspect late Monday and he was expected to be booked on suspicion of murder, Amormino said. His name was not released. One of his friends was expected to be booked as a suspected accessory after the fact for allegedly helping destroy evidence.
The stabbing occurred about 1:40 a.m. after White and at least two other security guards working the tavern's New Year's party went outside to investigate a couple of fights in the parking lot, some of which may have started inside the club, Amormino said.
White was stabbed with a knife while trying to help the guard who had the perpetrator on the ground, Amormino said. White died of his injuries at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.
Owners and employees at Time Out, which on its website boasts "lots of safe and free parking," could not be reached Monday night.

Brandon White, known as "Whitey", was one of the nicest guys you ever met, just a big, strong, short haired blond kid. Always friendly and helpful, but if someone started a fight or bothered the girls working at Hennessey's....look out. He would escort them out, now and then some jerk would give him a hard time, I've seem him pick up 200 lb guys by the neck and the crouch and toss them over the fense into the parking lot.
That night, I hear he was trying to take the knife away from a guy who was slashing at one of the other guards who had his arms all cut up, and Whitey went in to take the knife away, and got his neck slashed.
Really sad!

wife and i go into that bar all the time to play pool and have a drink...the nightclub crowd that rolls in there after 9p.m. is, well, not what you would expect in aliso viejo, and the gang/hoodlum/ahole factor is pretty big.

We will bar people for anywhere from a few weeks to life... basically zero tolerance for any bullshit. If they even dress like gang members, they will not get in, but still, you never know when some dumbass is going to do something. Had a knife been pulled on me, I'd have the cops on the way immediately and try to not apprehend the person unless that is the only alternative, seeing how all situations are different. This guy had already sliced up one person... let the law handle it if at all possible and maybe even shoot his ass. Being a bouncer automatically puts a bounty on your head anyway. I'm at a point in my life where I think I've about had enough of it, especially having a grandson now... I know it's too late for Brandon, so I hope justice will be served on this scumbag.:mad:

A man and woman from Hesperia will be charged in connection with the fatal New Year's Day stabbing of a bouncer outside an Aliso Viejo nightclub, officials said Tuesday.
Lorne Paul Kelley, 26, and Candie Kate Wilson, 45, are to be arraigned today in the death of Brandon White of Dana Point and the wounding of another bouncer, Orange County sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino said.
Kelley is alleged to have stabbed White in the neck, and Wilson is accused of washing bloody clothes and destroying other evidence, he said.
The victim had recently filed an application to become a sheriff's deputy, Amormino said.
Kelley and Wilson were allegedly involved in a fight with other patrons of the Time Out Tavern & Night Club early Monday when the bouncers tried to break it up and were stabbed.
The fight started over whether the Army or Marines is the better branch of military service, though no one involved was in the military, Amormino said.

I have known Brandon and his parents Kim and Erin for over 25 years, I was sick to my stomach when I saw them on TV last night showing the class act they are, Kim saying that even if Brandon knew what would happen he would have still helped his buddy out.
This type of useless shit has to go....too bad this dirt bag crack head and his family cant be subjected to "Iraq justice". Hang the scum.
Unfortunatly the family will suffer with this the rest of their lives, nothing is more true than "a parent should not bury a child".
