We stuffed a 38' coming back from Catalina. The drives tripped hard from a big swell. We could see a TON of water looming over the bow (we were running it hard)... It hit good and when we came out the motors had quit. I pulled the hatch open and all five batteries ripped right out of the battery boxes and tore the cable ends off! :eek:
Found one good battery to hit starboard and make it in. That's a hell of a way to make it back...:jawdrop:
