Well I posted on here a while back looking for a Hilborn scoop. A guy answered my call. We made a deal. We even talked on the phone. I sent my money and he sent the part.
It was sent on May 10th. It was coming from California to Up-State NY. It has been 2 weeks tomorrow and no scoop. Luckily it was insured so atleast Im not out the money. It just really SUCKS!!!! The US mail is screwed up. Probaly some guy with a towel on his head someplace is making a bomb out of my scoop!!!!

Well up-date on the missing scoop. After three weeks it finally showed up. That poor Turtle was worn out.... They strapped my scoop to his back.

Dan,
Glad you finally got your scoop, I never did get my v-drive video's back... Sending a package with the Postal Service is like checking your luggage at the airport - You never know...

S&S, I don't think the post office had anything to do with your tapes missing. It seems they found a new home somewhere in Canada. If there is anything I can do to "encourage their return" let me know.

058,
I think you are correct. V-Kid was very active on the forum for awhile and then just seemed to disappear. I sent him e-mails but no reply. I hope nothing bad happened to the dude... If you still have his mailing address e-mail it to me and I'll send him a letter via snail mail and see if that gets a response.
I went to the crackerbox races yesterday. Awesome! I want one bad!

S&S, I'll look for the UPS tag, its buried in my receipt drawer somewhere. Wish I could have gone, I love to watch the Crackerboxes.

Dan,the problem with turning your carbs sideways is you also need to change your floats to circle track style. Or will have a flood / starvation problem on your fuel during "Hard prolong accelleration" it will starve for fuel, and use a good fuel pressure gauge
