YUMA - A teenage Glendale girl died Monday of injuries she suffered the previous day in an accident at the Imperial Sand Dunes Recreational Area, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Nicole Brown died after being taken to Yuma Medical Center and then St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, CHP officer Joe Miller and Maricopa County Medical Examiner's office confirmed.
Brown was a passenger in a pickup driven Larry Brown, 40, of Phoenix, the CHP said. He crested a sand dune and the right side tires slipped over the edge, causing the pickup to roll repeatedly to the bottom of the hill. Nicole Brown was ejected. advertisement
