Badblown572's revived Banshee. It only took me a year(or more) to finish it.
Christie loved her first "bike".
She rode the piss out it this weekend. Burnt up 7 gallons of VP C-12 all by herself.
Test run went A-OK, she was a little spooky crossing over big dunes, but she surprised me in a good way, like a fish to water.
I have shared some personal bad news here recently, I thought I would share some good for a change.

that area looks really familiar. Is that near the gas station at Rasor Road off I-15?

that place used to be my favorite place to ride. Been there hundreds of times back when I lived in CA. Haven't been there since 2000. Need to make a trip out there again soon.

The thing about Rasor Road is that it has everything. Sandbowl, hard packed dirt, rocks, water, trains and Afton Canyon. Was thinking of planning a trip out there maybe sometime in March. Anyone?

yeah the Mojove river runs through Afton Canyon. Awesome place with caves, steep cliffs and so on. It's about 10 miles south of the sandbowl

Actually the house isn't abandoned.
People phucked the house up so bad, the owner isn't willing to put any money into it.
Used to be a serious party place back when people respected other people's property.

It used to be a bitchen time.
Generator for electricity, has good size pool too.
Bikes to ride in the "garage."
It really is sad.

Well thank you for taking such good care of it. Did you buy the Banshee new?
My wife absolutely loves it.
I was pleasantly surprised.
I think we will be back out riding next weekend.
