I missed it last year cause our place was rented, but not this year, we will be there. Where is the best place to view the festivities from?

IMO best place is probably Sara Park, this is where they actually launch the fireworks from, but ya gotta get there EARLY.....
We made the mistake last year of lagging in the hotel room, and couldnt even get in the park.
Not going to happen this year, plan on going down there in the afternoon and parking my butt on the grass.... and waiting for nightfall.

I think you are correct about my hubby RiverRatMike. I don't think he would miss it for the world. We should all hangout together. I think Mike is bringing the trailer.:)

We will probably be there... Would be nice to have the boat on the water if it is warm.. Otherwise, I guess the family could watch at the place they are setting them off..

I've been twice before and watched the show from the water. Every time you think it's over it goes for another 20 minutes! It's a great way to break up the winter wait and get the boat on the water too.
How many nights will they be running the display?

some hot buttered Garlic Shimps
potato Salad

Last year we did the 5 mile Buckskin mountain bike ride to the desert bar. Sixteenth annual event. Pretty damn fun event. You ride or walk to the desert bar and party afterwords. Then clean up and watch the fireworks show afterwords.
