Well, here I go again. Thought the old engine was going to be a no brainer. Guess again. So, I have to sell some stuff (EVERYTHING MUST GO), to get a new engine. Here is a list.
1.1972 Sanger Flatbottom Hull. New white gel inside and out. SOLD
2.Casale 12 degree v-drive. When the purchaser gets it, it will have a new top shaft, bearings and seals. Waiting on top shaft and seals as you read.
3.Hall-Craft parralel shaft v-drive. Needs seals and bearings.
4.Powerglide transmission. Converted to manual shift only and has direct drive converter.
5.Parts from the old engine. Just getting into the engine now, so not sure what is good. Possibly the closed chamber small valve heads, the intake (SOLD) is polished and in good shape, M/T 427 valve covers(SOLD) (also polished), e-mail for more on the engine.
6.Seats. Brand New. Four fiberglass seats with white covers (purple pipeing). Not race seats by any means. They are originally for a baja vehicle, but could be used in a boat.
7.Bassett BB Zoomies. Brand New. Never been used once. They are chrome with baffles installed by Bergeron Eng.
More to come. I have pictures. Let me know what you want to see. I can post, and will start posting tomorrow. I need some help on this. I just bought Semi-V's boat. Pick it up Sunday. I need to get some money to get another engine. Not sure if anyone is interested, but could possibly do some trading. Two boats without one engine between them. Thanks, tell your friends.

how much for the V-Drive? splitcase?

Cole Sanger

I would like to see 1000 for the 12 degree. Completely rebuilt with a new plate. The zoomies are 500 and the transmission 200. The hull I need 2000. The seats I would like to see 200 and the Hall-craft I would like 200. All prices are negotiable, to a point.

A friend of mine has a motor for a boat with headers and wants a v-drive . What can be worked out to give him the boat to drop his motor in it ?
He has a jet with a cracked hull, and I want to get him out of it.

Now there is a question. If he is looking for a project, at a good price, you have come to the right place. I have almost everything you would need. The hull, v-drive, powerglide if you want, or the drive-shaft that was in the boat, aluminum to box in the stringers from front to back(already cut, just need to be installed), all the steering stuff, new gaffig gauges and bezels, foot throttle, four seats if you want. What you would need is tanks, although I was going to buy some from david 396. I don't know if he still has them. You would need to buy a prop shaft. I think that is a pretty good list of what I have. There is probably more that I am forgetting. All that for 3200 obo. The only thing I am waiting on is the top shaft for the casale. You said he already has headers, so that price doesn't include the zoomies. I think that is a fair price, but you tell me what you think. I will post some pictures in a few minutes.

He has a jet with a cracked hull, and I want to get him out of it. I've got a 1977 hondo t-deck runner that is already to go minus engine (set up for BBC) in excellent condition looking to get $6400 out of it. everything either polished or anodized. went tthrough the whole boat last winter.

I just checked out KIT and Buggy service, and for a 100 dollars more i can get seats in the right colour and all, so i'm out of the deal.
And yes, we have ZIP or postal codes here, we are only 6 million people here, but it can be hard to get around without some sort of system.
We have flushing toilets, hookers from estonia ,asphalt on the roads, and bitches with piercings in the most odd places too.

I bought them from Pape Enterprises in El Cajon, CA. You can check the web site. I paid, with shipping, over 450 for them. Sorry they aren't the color you need. No, they don't come with the mounting hardware. That's the easy part though. You just need some angle aluminum and drill some holes. Very easy to mount them. I don't have other seats for the boat. Like I said though, I would rather sell everything in one transaction. I need the money and the room for that matter. Rich, just let me know when you can. Not a big rush. Although, the sooner I get some money, the sooner GoFastRacer can get another project. :D

Oh no, colesanger, don't get me wrong, i do not doubt the price, teh price is fair. but with a 100 bucks worth of shipping, and possibly some new covers and importtax of 27,5 % ( not that big a deal, my aunt makes these things), its probably easier to just get them in DK.
I'm sorry i reacted without thinking, i'll do better next time.
If i had been finished with my current boat, i probably would have bought the whole thing for import myself, as i think the price is more then fair on the package deal, wich probably could be negotiated down to 3000 bucks.
A thing like that would cost around 6000 dollars here, if you could ever find one,.

I have no hard feelings. I just wanted you to know where to get the ones I am selling. If someone wanted different colors or something, I have no problem showing them where they are. Like I said, I am selling them for half the price. Just need the money. Itching to get the new boat going. It's been a long time since I have been on the water, much less in my own boat. Good luck on your project.

Just saw another post for someone elses boat. I thought that I could make the same offer to deliver free to Red Rock if that would help anyone. I don't live that far away. I am not planning on going, but if someone really wanted it, I could take a day and deliver.

Well, cole sanger. It's been 10 years since i have run anything faster then my dads fishingboat.
( Quicksilver with honda 15, What a rush)
My old boat got stolen and vandalized, and then kids, house, paintingcompany and so on, so i know the itch.
My problem is'nt money, but time, and the fact that i'm building a boat that i can't get parts for in DK wich slows things down a lot.
Most things is there thoug, and i,m aiming for the spring.
If needed i will take 2 weeks of and work fulltime in the winter, where the paintingbuisyness is'nt so busy.
The damn thing is going in the water, thats for sure.
I could take it for a spin in a matter of days, but it has to be totally finished before i start using it, complete with Graphics, vikinghorn, and all.

Ok, here it is again. The boat is now sold, along with the intake and valve covers. So, look to the top of this thread to see if anyone is in need. I still don't have the top shaft for the Casale. I will let it go for 650 as is with the new plate that GoFastRacer cut for me. I have some bronze underwater hardware if anyone needs. I also have some Gaffrig II white face gauges and purple angle bezels if anyone wants. They are brand new, still in the boxes. I also have a Weiand high rise manifold that needs to be polished again, it has a single carb adapter plate on it.

Ok, I think that is enough pictures for one day. Good thing I have a cable modem. That would have taken a week on dial up. Anyway, I know this isn't the best stuff anyone has seen. The gauges and bezels are brand new though. The steering shaft is new and the rudder stuffing box is new (did have to sand down the bottom of it to get it to sit flat while mocking up, never installed it though). The heads are oval port closed chamber from my 427. The crank is in good shape also, it too is from the 427. Haven't had anything checked out professionally. The carpet is marine grade purple, never had a chance to install it. It all has to go. Let me know what you think. The Weiand high rise had a blemish on it that I had welded. It will need to be cleaned up. It is set up for a single carb, but I am sure you can get a dual carb top plate for it if needed. The casale is complete minus the top shaft, the pictures don't show all the other parts in the box.

I really don't know right now what I want for most of it. I posted some prices up above. This is just what I have. I just want to get rid of it all. I really don't have the room for it, or the need for it all. Hopefully if someone needs any of it they will just let me know and we can go from there. I will try to think about what I want for it. I am thinking 2000 for everything. That includes the zoomies, casale, hallcraft, seats, gauges, high rise intake, carpet and all the other stuff. I doubt that anyone will want it all in one swoop, that would be too easy for me.

Cole Sanger

They are 1.22 gears, but at this point I would really like to keep the casale as a whole package minus the top shaft. I will keep you in mind though if no one else wants the box. I am asking 500 for the casale as is. It would take a top shaft (175 Menkins) and a gasket set (25 Menkins) to put it all back together.

I had a 50/50 chance on the H-Block. I guessed wrong. The H-block was 80 bucks from Mesa Driveline. The whole assembly I will sell for 60, or just the h-block for 40.

Cole Sanger
10-06-2003, 05:18 PM
The steering shaft is brand new. I have all the components. Dan66Stevens has asked me about the steering post that bolts to the dash. I think he wants it, but I am not positive. I told him 10 bucks for the post. I have a complete cable steering assembly. If he doesn't want the steering post, I can let the whole thing go for 200. That doesn't include the rudder. That includes the post, new shaft, bearings, pullies (3 pieces), chain, chain gear, stuffing box, steering quadrant. The stuffing box is new except we sanded the bottom so it would sit flat on the hull, but it was never installed. I will sell it for 30.

Cole Sanger
10-06-2003, 05:22 PM
The shipping (manifold/flexplate) I would have to box it up and take it to the post office to get you a price. I have to take a couple of parts there anyway. I will try to get you a shipping price in the next couple days if that is ok. I would think that shipping wouldn't be that much more for the flexplate. I think you can get new ones for less than 50 at any checker/shucks/kragen. It is up to you though. Let me know what you decide.

The zoomies I am asking 500. They have never been run. I bought them, had Bergeron install baffles, then never have had the chance to run them. They cost me over 650 before tax and shipping. You will save yourself money buying mine, if you were to buy them brand new from Bassett. The 500 is only going to help someone that was going to buy brand new from them.

1980SANGERV-DRIVE, I do believe that MickeyFinn wants the tunnel ram and one flex plate. I am going to get the shipping info for him tomorrow. MickeyFinn, this is correct still right? If not, I will send you an e-mail. As far as the zoomies, no one has said they want them. Shoot me an e-mail (cole_keefer@cox.net) and we can set up shipping. I sent a pair of headers to northern CA and I think it was 50 bucks, so it shouldn't be more than that. Is this going on Daves new boat? Should have had him put them in the back of the truck for you. Would have saved on shipping. Anything else you see he might need? I was sure he would want the v-drive. He said he wanted to start with absolutely nothing. More power to him. I couldn't have done that. Cost way to much.

I never thought about it that way, but that sure is what it seems like. Sounds like your project is comming along. I am waiting to sell all this stuff so I can build one myself for the flat. I will send you all the pictures when it gets done, but you already have pictures of what it is going to look like. That is what I am going to go by when I put the new engine in.

The stringer width that these came out of is 26 inches. They come just like you see them. What did you mean by complete? Are you looking for something in particular?
