I watched a deal on her on thre Biography channel awhile back.
She didn't have an easy life, as a kid, then her mother really tried to run thing$ when she got popular.
An absolute hottie in her day.
The part she played in "McLintock" was a gift to her from old friend John Wayne, who knew she was struggling money-wise at the time.
It really makes you wonder when you compare todays "Actors" with the old Hollywood talent. I don't think the industry will ever be as populated with the class of people it was in the 40's-60's.

:D That earlier pic is what beauty was all about, style, class, and all natural, not like the skanks of today, like paris, brittney, lohan etc...go watch some of the oldie movies and see what class and style was all about.
Very true....these women were genuine beauties.
