How about an update? What's the word on twisted? Running yet? How about some progress info. Any new pics.

Oh boy, you're calling me out on this one.
Ok, not much has been done as I'm working late nights doing CAD stuff for a guys new start up company. (it will be worth it in the long run) Another reason is I am totaly out of money so the side work is very needed right now. I am just about done with his stuff so I should be sending my V-drive up to Menkins very soon. That will get the ball rolling.
Now, all the hardware that I'm keeping is gold anao right now. I need to change it. What color do you guys think would be good? I'm thinking black would look good against the red and white but am open to other ideas.

Black would look good. How about polished or chrome? I know you are not a big fan or powder coating, so I won't go there http://free.***boat.net/ubb/wink.gif

pollished is always classic and timeless - and looks bitchen.

It sounds like black ano it is then. I do already have the s.s. cav plates that are nice and shiney. I will also have lots of polished parts too. As far as fading goes. I don't have problems with that. My boat is only in the sun when it's in the water and I guess I just don't drive it enough.
HBJet is going to give me a hand getting the trim on next weekend. It's only held on with 109 s.s. oval head 8-32 with nylocks.

I was with a guy that does anodizing just the other day. He showed me a sample of a semi-transparent ano treatment that looks bitchen over polished aluminum. He had one color called "black chrome". Way cool.

Red/Black combo always works!
