OK I got these #s of the new boat, and would like to find out anything I can on them?
1981 Eliminator Sport Cursier 20'6"
Casel # C50C-15 and it is the one with large round supports!
Harman 454 405hp marked on the covers S/N HM9-C-6370
Intake is Al. and is marked GM-3933163
Strut is marked R1 104 9°
Heads looking thru the oil fill you can see B25 80?
Prop is 3 blade with a 15 on it?
Any info you may have would be great! :D
Thanks,
Josh R.

When you say 396, or 427 is that the motor they came on? I wonder what heads i have?

I think the 990 heads came with the LS7 crate engine....? 12:1 also if I remember right.
Pull the valve covers and look on one of the intake runners, check the last 3 numbers and post them here.

The B2580 is usually the casting date. Meaning it was cast in Febuary 25,1980. You have to pull the cover for positive head ID #. JeRk

Ron is a cool guy. He built a boat for a friend of my not long ago. We spent lots of our lunch hours over there. His shop is about 2 blocks from my work place.

your v-drive sounds like a C-500. I'd guess it has 15% gears in it, but I don't know for sure.
It's a very good v-drive, alot quiter that a split case, but if you put a ton of hp(800+) in it you will need some extea bracing on it.

Boatguy,
That is what i belive it to be. And from what ive been told it.I think the C50C-15 is C500-15.C being O and just not clear and 15 being the gears?
But no matter what it is One Bad Ass Boat :D

SuperV, I have no gears or parts for your C 500. Those gears are hard to find used but are out there. Like Boatguy said, they are good drives and are much quiter then the quick change units.
I do have an exploded view of it at home. I will send it to you tonight sometime.
A few years ago I looked at buying a boat just like yours. Same color and everything..But he would not go down to 10K so I didn't get it. Bummer to as that boat looked brand new still It also was rigged by Connely.
Every boat that I have ever seen that they built or just rigged was very nice.
